Say Hay Farms is a 50-acre farm in Yolo County that specializes in raising certified-organic vegetables and pastured eggs in an integrated system. Founded in 2010 with just 2.5 acres and 100 hens, they now grow a diversity of crops year-round on 45 acres of certified organic fields. They rotate vegetable crops, pastured hens, and cover crops, and grow 4 acres of almonds and an acre of oranges. This tour is open to farmers and aspiring farmers. Chris Hay (Say Hay Farms) will discuss whole farm planning and Rex Dufour (NCAT) and will discuss natural pest management. For more information, click here.
