Farm to Farm – Growing for Restaurants at Long Meadow Ranch

Curious about growing for chefs and restaurants? For the June edition of our Farmer-to-Farmer Field Day series, we’re heading to Napa County where we invite you to tour the Rutherford Estate where, among a sea of vineyards, they grow fruits, vegetables, honey, eggs and more for world-class eateries. We’ll explore how these speciality accounts influence on-farm production, from crop selection to planting schedules. Come learn, come share your own wisdom, come talk shop and troubleshoot with fellow growers. Tour will conclude with an on-farm potluck happy hour, so feel free to bring something to share.

This is a project of The Farmers Guild, CAFF, the Grange School of Adaptive Agriculture, The UC Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program and the Farmer Veteran Coalition. And is supported by Johnny’s seeds.

Cost: FREE event open to farmers, farmworkers, interns and students of Ag. Register: Farm to Farm Eventbrite.
